Hyderabad, Sept.29 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed that the State government will build more hospitals in the days to come and steps will be taken to improve the women’s health and their welfare in Telangana.
Speaking at the programme after participating in “Pink Power Run 2024 ” at Gachibowli stadium here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the State government
is committed to women’s healthcare and efforts are being made to strengthen the healthcare system in the State.
“I strongly believe that women’s health is the foundation to the prosperity of family and the community,” Revanth Reddy said.
He appealed to all the people to work together to build a healthier and empowered future for Telangana women.
Earlier, Minister for Health Damodar Raja Narasimha flagged off a Pink Power Run 2024, which aims to create awareness among people about breast cancer.
The marathon was organised at Gachibowli Stadium under the auspices of Sudhareddy Foundation. On the occasion, 3K, 5K and 10K runs were held simultaneously. The programme was organised aimed at earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.About 5,000 people participated in the programme.
