Hyderabad, Aug.25 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reiterated that the State government will continue its fight against the encroachment of lakes and it has taken up a demolition drive, aimed at protecting lakes and government lands, which were indiscriminately encroached upon during the previous regime.
Speaking at a programme after laying foundation stone for Hare Krishna Heritage Tower at Kokapet here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the demolition drive was not designed for politics or political parties and the government had undertaken the programme with a will to provide better lives to the future generations.
“We will not succumb to the pressure and will take stringent action against the encroachers,” Revanth Reddy asserted.

Stating that a rare opportunity comes only once in a lifetime, the Chief Minister said he is fortunate attending such a big programme as a chief guest organised by Hare Krishna Foundation.
“The proposed heritage tower, which is being constructed at the height of 430 feet, is a pride of Telangana and it will provide spiritual teachings in the concrete jungle.
The construction of this tower will be completed in 36 or 40 months and the new building will also be inaugurated by me. It is a great occasion in the history ” Revanth Reddy said.
