Hyderabad, March 31 (RAHNUMA): Ahead of Hanuman Jayanti on April 2 this year, the city police have put in place elaborate security arrangements for the annual rally from Gowliguda Ram Mandir to Tadbund Hanuman Temple.
City Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar inspected the route along with senior officials, reviewing crowd control measures, traffic diversions and deployment plans. Key points along the stretch were assessed to ensure smooth movement of devotees. “Our priority is to ensure a peaceful celebration of Hanuman Jayanti. Adequate force will be deployed, and sensitive areas will be closely monitored by special teams”, the Commissioner told the newsmen.
Police have strengthened surveillance through CCTV cameras, installed barricades and coordinated with multiple departments to handle large crowds. Traffic regulation plans have also been readied to minimize inconvenience to commuters.
Authorities urged the devotees to cooperate with police instructions and participate in the rally in a disciplined manner, stressing the importance of maintaining communal harmony and public safety.
