Hyderabad, Nov.25 (NSS):Former minister Harish Rao today reacted to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s statement that he was rejecting industrialist Gautam Adani’s recent donation of Rs 100 crore to the Young India Skills University. “What about the Rs 12,400-crore deal you made with Adani in Davos at a time when Rahul Gandhi has been demanding the setting up of a joint parliamentary committee on Adani’s corruption?
“What about your conspiracies to hand over discoms in the State to Adani and privatise them,” he asked. Harish Rao clarified that when the proposal to set up a 20,000 MW thermal plant came up, Adani’s company’s representatives were politely served tea together and sent them away. “Adani is a corrupt person, who has been given the red carpet by the gully Congress,” he said.
Harish Rao said Revanth Reddy had entered into agreements with Adani, who is fighting against Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. He demanded that the Telangana State government should cancel all the agreements signed with Adani.
