Hyderabad, Oct.19 (NSS): Protests organized by Hindu groups demanding strict punishment for the accused, who destroyed the Muthyalamma temple in Secunderabad escalated into tensions on Saturday. Hindu religious activists gathered in large numbers around the temple premises to voice their dissent.
As Hindu groups moved towards the mosque located behind the temple, fears of communal clashes arose, prompting police to resort to baton charges. The situation intensified with the baton charge, resulting in injuries to many Hindu activists. In the midst of this, a severe clash occurred between the police and the protesters.
