Hyderabad, Dec.6 (Md. Inkeshaf ahmed): No matter how many raids the GHMC food safety officials are conducting on hotels in the State capital, they are not changing their ways at all. Some tablets were spotted in chicken biryani at the famous Bawarchi hotel at RTC crossroads in Hyderabad.
The customers, who were eating chicken biryani found the tablets in it. They were stunned after seeing the tablets and brought it to the notice of the hotel management. However, the hotel management, instead of taking action against its staff, turned furious at the customers, who were taking video of the tablets.
The customers were angry over the criminal negligence of the management of the Bavarchi hotel. Following this, the customers lodged a complaint with the food safety authorities. This is the second incident that took place in the same hotel. Ten days ago, cigarette butts were found in a biryani plate at the same hotel. The matter was brought to the notice of the hotel management by the customers. However, it ignored the matter. A complaint had been lodged with the food safety authorities in the matter. It is noteworthy that the authorities did not take any action.

Despite all this, the hotel owners are not giving up their careless attitude. Similarly, it has come to light in several raids that the kitchens of hotels were also not kept clean as per rules.
On the other hand, recently GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi led by the food safety wing officials raided several shops in the old city. On the occasion, the Mayor was shocked to see a rat eating meat at a shop. The Mayor directed the officials to seize the shops that flouted the rules and regulations. However, MIM MLC Baig intervened and threatened the officials to reopen the seized shops. So, the shops had to be opened. Mayor Vijayalakshmi received information about the incident.
