
Hyderabad, Nov.4 (NSS): Hindu Spiritual & Service Foundation (HSSF) is a registered voluntary organisation working as a platform to show case the service activities of Hindu spiritual institutions which are doing yeoman service to humanity.
HSSF conducts Hindu Spiritual & Service Fairs (HSS Fairs) to show case service activities of Hindu spiritual & community organisations which, while rendering yeoman services, also promote & sustain dharmic consciousness. The theme of HSS Fairs is founded on the Rig Vedic dictum “Athmano Mokshartham Jagat Hitayacha” meaning “Service to Humanity as the Way to Attain Moksha”.
HSS Fairs encourage organisations to undertake services founded on the belief that good deeds lead to be noble even after life. Services rendered by participant organisations are classified under six themes: Conserve Forests and Protect Wild Life; Preserve Ecology; Sustain Environment; Inculcate Family and Human Values; Foster Women’s Honour;Instil Patriotism.
HSSF has organised such fairs in several cities in India, including, Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Indore, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, and so on. HSSF, Telangana Chapter, is organising the Hindu Spiritual Service Fair from November 8 to 10, 2024 at Exhibition Grounds, Hyderabad. The focus of this fair is to inculcate human values in school going children. Everyday about 5,000 school children are expected to attend the fair along with 1,000 school managements and correspondents. Over 120 spiritual and community service organisations have registered for the HSS Fair 2024 and will be displaying information about the services they render to the society.
The fair will be inaugurated by Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami in the presence of Swami Shitikanthananda, Ramakrishna Mission, and L.V. Subramanyam, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary, Andhra Pradesh, on November 7, 2024 at 6 pm at Exhibition Grounds, Hyderabad. On November 10, 2024 Subedar Major Yogendra Yadav, Param Veer Chakra Awardee, will address the Param Veer Vandan program. D. Sridhar Babu, Minister & President, Exhibition Society, consented to grace the Param Veer Vandan program on November 10, 2024.
HSSF will bear all the expenses for conducting the fair and it will not involve any commercial activity. The spiritual & community organisations will be permitted free participation and entry to the fair will also be free for the visiting public.
