Hyderabad, Dec.13 (RAHNUMA): Senior BRS leader Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Saturday underscored the need for clear direction, inclusive development and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence to shape India’s future, during a Vision India interaction that lasted over an hour with Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party president, and other participants in the city.
Describing Hyderabad as a “statement of discipline meeting imagination,” Ponnala said real progress must be measured through jobs, skills and opportunities reaching every section of society. He stressed that technology, particularly AI, will soon become critical national infrastructure across education, healthcare, governance and enterprise.
Emphasising youth empowerment, he said young Indians are seeking platforms and trust, not permission, and called for systems that reward innovation and entrepreneurship. Ponnala cautioned that AI must empower people rather than displace them and serve as an equaliser for talent from small towns and villages.
He concluded that sustainable national growth is engineered through planning, discipline and shared development, asserting that India’s future will be shaped by ideas that scale, systems that endure and leadership that looks beyond immediate headlines.
