A Night of Flavors, Stories, and Hyderabadi Pride

(RAHNUMA) HYDERABAD The Die-Hard Foodies #HYDERABADIYAT festival, hosted by Faraaz Farshori of Die-Hard Foodies and Raza Abidi of Abidi’s Virsa-e-Deccan, was a delightful showcase of Hyderabad’s culinary richness and cultural pride. Guests enjoyed authentic dishes across Hyderabadi ghar ka khana , Dawat ka khana, and Veg menus, savoring classics like Seene ka Gosht, Zafrani Biryani, Shikampur, and Shaadi ka Laal Murgh along with the that wala menu with Saem ki phalli gosht and Dalcha.
The evening included lively cultural anecdotes by Adil Yar Khan and a passionate talk on Hyderabadi heritage by Haseeb Jafferi, while Sahera and the Dholak ke Geet team recreated the spirit of a traditional Hyderabadi wedding. Faraaz also acknowledged his mother Shabina Farshori’s written piece on the city’s culinary traditions, promising to share it separately.
With DHF VIP guests (an exclusive premium club if socialites who care for the society and enjoy good food and company) in splendid ethnic Hyderabadi attire and laughter echoing through the night, #DHFHYDERABADIYAT was more than a dinner—it was a tribute to Hyderabad’s royal past, rich culture, and timeless hospitality.
