Hyderabad, Aug.31 (NSS): The Hydra authorities crackdown on the illegal structures is continuing unabatedly. The demolitions have already been carried out at several places. Hydra Commissioner AV Ranganath undertook a whirlwind tour in Patancheru on Saturday. The local Saki pond was inspected by him. He inspected the encroached area of the pond and reviewed the situation with the authorities.
The officials have already identified 18 illegal structures in the pond. There are allegations that the Incor company had constructed an apartment by shutting the sluice gates of the pond. Ranganath inspected the apartment also during his visit. He also made a whirlwind tour of Ameenpur and visited Shambhuni Kunta, Sambikunta, Bandham Kommu, Chakrapuri Colony and Aminpur big ponds.
An Advocate Ravikrishna has lodged a complaint with the Hydra Commissioner regarding the encroachment of the tanks. The locals said all the ponds were encroached upon, canals were closed and illegal constructions were made. Ranganath directed the officials to submit a complete report in this regard. The Illegal constructions were found in Shambhunikunta, Saki cheruvu, Aminpur Pedda tank and Bandhamkommu tank limits.
Meanwhile, the Hydra Commissioner Ranganath responded to the news reports that notices were served on YSRCP president and former AP CM YS Jagan. He said falsehoods were being spread on social media on the issue.
