Jagadish Reddy slams minister Uttam Kumar

Hyderabad, Aug.31 (NSS): Former minister & Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy today warned the ruling party leaders to keep mum. He also reacted sharply to the terminology used against former CM KCR by alleging that there was corruption in irrigation projects executed during the BRS party rule.

Speaking to media persons on Saturday, he  criticized minister Uttam Kumar Reddy for using the words meant for CM Revanth on the BRS party. “They are crying over KCR and not calling Revanth. The CM is a dacoit caught red-handed. KCR worked for the welfare of the people for 10 years. Uttam should change the language. KCR never allowed us to say such things,” he said. He said Uttam would never become CM in his life time.

He said water cannot be supplied from the projects that have been constructed over the years. “Dharnas are being held for water and electricity. Let’s talk about them first. If you speak in the wrong way, the scoldings that Revanth got yesterday will be wrong for Uttam. Uttam cannot become the CM except for scolding him if he speaks. If the irrigation dharnas continue like this, people will not be able to move around by yasangi. Uttam has failed as irrigation minister for not being able to provide irrigation water. If not, Uttam should reconsider his ministerial post. If Kaleshwaram water is not supplied, Congress leaders will have to face blows with the farmers. There are complaints on farmers’ issues. We are getting requests from farmers to help,” he said, adding that KCR would soon announce action on farmers’ issues and added that government would  bend its necks and help the farmers.
