Hyderabad, March 19 (INN): President of India Draupadi Murmu has accepted Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan’s resignation as Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
Meanwhile, the President has appointed Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan to discharge the functions of the Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry in addition to his own duties until regular arrangements are made.
The above appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of his office, according to a press communique from the Raj Bhavan.
