
Hyderabad, June 26 (NSS): Former MP A P Jithender Reddy took charge as Telangana Government’s Special Representative in New Delhi on Wednesday.
AICC Telangana in-charge Deepadas Munshi, Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, MPs Mallu Ravi, Raghurami Reddy, Balram Naik and Chamala Kiran Kamar Reddy, MLAs Vivek, Yannam Srinivas Reddy, Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Kadiyam Srihari, former minister Jana Reddy and other leaders were present.
On the occasion, speaking to the media, Jithender Reddy thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for giving an opportunity as a special representative in Delhi and promised that he would strive hard for the development of Telangana State.
He stated that the Union government is not sincere in the implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and criticised the Centre for failing to resolve the issue of Krishna river water sharing between two Telugu States.
“Many issues related to the Telangana State have been pending for over the years. I will act as a bridge between the Central and State governments and will work to resolve all the issues,” Jithender Reddy said. (NSS)
