
LONDON(RAHNUMA): The Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted five Iranian missiles and drones, while one missile evaded their defenses on Wednesday, as Iran continues to attack neighboring countries following the start of a military campaign against it by the US and Israel.
The Jordanian Public Security Directorate responded to 15 incidents involving falling debris and projectiles in various areas over the past 24 hours.
No injuries were reported, and damage was limited to minor material losses. Officials advised the public to avoid gathering near, handling, or tampering with any unidentified objects or debris due to potential hazards, according to the Petra news agency.
Jordan condemned on Tuesday an Iranian attack on Bahrain that resulted in the death of a Moroccan civilian contractor with the UAE Armed Forces and injuries to several personnel from Emirati and Bahraini forces.
King Abdullah of Jordan reiterated that Arab states did not take part in any US-led attacks against Iran, nor did they initiate the current conflict, which began on Feb. 28.
