Amman, March 19 (QNA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan met here on Sunday with Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Abu al-Gheit
The meeting discussed topics and issues that will be tackled by the Arab summit in Jordan later this month, Petra News Agency reported.
The Jordanian King emphasized the importance of coordinating and unifying stances of Arab states to address challenges besetting the Arab region. For his part, Abu al-Gheit underlined the importance of the Arab summit which will kick off this week in the Dead Sea area, in light of the challenges facing some Arab states.
He said the Arab League appreciated Jordan’s stances under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah to promote joint Arab action and achieve security and stability in the region. (QNA)
