Hyderabad, Dec 15 ( RAHNUMA): Minister for Tourism and Culture, Jupally Krishna Rao, said the State government has kept the trust given by the people and the people’s government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is working well.
While speaking to the media at Chinnambavi village in Kollapur Assembly constituency on Monday, Jupally Krishna Rao criticised the previous BRS government, saying their poor management damaged the economy and left the state with a lot of debt.
He said the current Congress government is working to fulfill the promises made to the people and aims to make them happy.
“The government will soon fulfill its remaining promises. The ongoing panchayat election results show that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership has made people trust the party and government,” Jupally Krishna Rao said.
He mentioned that the Congress party is strong in the first and second phases of the Gram Panchayat elections in Kollapur. Congress-backed candidates won in 50 places, including 3 independents, while BJP and BRS candidates won 28 seats.
The Minister said people supported Congress because they believe development will be easier with the ruling party’s supporters, and they were influenced by the wide publicity of government schemes.
