
Hyderabad, Sept.20 (NSS): Minister for Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao has urged Spain’s Ambassador Juan Antonio Marso Pujol to extend cooperation in promoting Telangana’s tourism sector.
In a courtesy meeting held at the Secretariat here on Friday, the two leaders discussed the potential for enhancing tourism ties between Telangana and Spain.
Jupally Krishna Rao highlighted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision of transforming Telangana into a global tourist destination by focusing on world-class infrastructure that celebrates the state’s rich history, culture, and heritage.
He emphasized the role of tourism as a bridge for cultural and traditional exchange between nations.
The Minister also revealed plans to collaborate with various countries on theme-based tourism circuits that not only promote tourism but also preserve heritage.
He requested Ambassador Pujol to support initiatives that would promote Telangana’s tourism and strengthen mutual cooperation between the two regions to attract tourists.
The Minister expressed optimism about the potential of the upcoming Fourth City project in Telangana, which could draw even more international visitors.
On the occasion, Ambassador Pujol assured Spain’s cooperation in supporting the development of Telangana’s tourism sector and invited Jupally to visit Spain, a global hub for tourists.
