Hyderabad, July 26 (NSS): Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao has lashed at former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao for levelling derogatory remarks against the State budget.
Speaking at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, the Minister said that the State budget presented by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka was close to the reality and there were no statements to deceive the people.
“Even though Bhatti Vikramarka has presented the budget for the first time, there is a clear cut clarity on every issue and the budget has clearly mentioned what the State government is doing to the people and what it can do in the days to come. Bhatti did not present a gas budget like KCR had done during the last ten years,” Jupally said.
Condemning the remarks of former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who alleged that the Congress government has cheated farmers and there are no major allocations for the agriculture schemes in the budget, the Minister pointed out that the State government has already initiated the process of waiving the crop loans up to Rs.2 lakh with Rs.31,000 crores.
He further stated that apart from giving Rs.500 bonus per quintal for paddy crop, the Congress government has introduced a crop insurance scheme for farmers this year which facility was not there during the tenure of the BRS government.
“KCR is trying to deceive people with his false statements. He should come to the Assembly and take part in the debate what he had done during the last ten years and what the Congress government is providing facilities to farmers,” Jupally Krishna Rao asked.
