Hyderabad, Dec.2 (NSS): BRS party MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has warned that the State government was filing cases against BRS party workers and added that they would not be spared if they were harassed. She said a legal team was being formed on party lines to fight against the cases. She said the Congress government would not tolerate the spread of facts on social media and pointing out the government’s mistakes. “When the BRS party was in power, no matter how many criticisms Congress leaders made, we did not act in this manner,” she said.
MLC Kavitha met the main leaders of the BRS party from Korutla assembly constituency at her residence. Jagtial district president Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao, Korutla MLA Dr Sanjay and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Kavitha said the Chief Minister and the State ministers were competing for the same thing and scolding her. Revanth Reddy’s comment that KCR is a plant was ridiculous and added that KCR was the power that Telangana had achieved by showing the dots to Revanth Reddy’s teachers. She said the BRS party has a history of working hard since the Telangana movement and added that the BRS party had survived all the difficulties faced by the party. She called for the same spirit to work in the same spirit now. “The real workers are those who work for the party in difficult times,” she added. The MLC also called upon the workers to prepare for the upcoming local body elections. She also directed the people to expose the government’s failures and the manner in which promises have been ignored. She said it was unfortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had imposed GST on handlooms which were not even under the British rule.
