Hyderabad, March 23 (NSS): BRS party chief KCR today announced former minister and current legislator from Secunderabad assembly seat Tigulla Padma Rao Goud as the party’s candidate from the Secunderabad parliamentary seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
To this extent, he held discussions with the party’s legislators, representatives of the people in a meeting with other important leaders of the party and after collecting the opinions of all, the decision to field Padma Rao was taken by KCR. As a senior leader of the party, Padma Rao Goud, who has been loyal to the party since the time of the separate Telangana movement till today, has gained recognition as a man of all. The meeting unanimously approved Padma Rao Goud as the right candidate, who is a committed local leader and who has worked so much for the development of Secunderabad and who is popularly known as ‘Pajjanna’ by the people of the area.
Meanwhile, KCR also announced the names of the party candidates for two more MP seats. Kyama Mallesh from BC community has been nominated to contest from Bhuvanagiri parliamentary seat by him. Kancharla Krishna Reddy was announced as the party candidate from Nalgonda MP seat.
