Hyderabad, July 29 (NSS): Former minister and Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy on Monday termed former chief minister and BRS party president K Chandrasekhar Rao as Satya Harishchandra, who was known for his truthfulness based on Indian mythology.
Participating in the discussion on the power sector in the Assembly, Jagadish Reddy said that KCR was not like Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who has the habit of carrying bags.
Replying to a question raised by the Chief Minister on the power issues, the BRS MLA questioned as to why Revanth Reddy was rubbing his shoulders after the Congress government was caught on the issue of the electricity.
“Our leader KCR is like a Satya Harishchandra. He doesn’t know carrying bags like Revanth Reddy who has carried bags for TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and went to jail,” Jagadish Reddy said.
“When I have talked about the truth about the status of power sector, the Chief Minister has come into the House and disrupted the proceedings of the House with baseless allegations,” the BRS MLA said.
He suggested that the House should be run with dignity and asked the ruling party as to what message it was giving to the people by making unsavoury remarks against former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the House.
