
Hyderabad, Sept.6 (NSS): BRS party supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao recalled the efforts of Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, who actively participated in the struggle for Telangana statehood. He expressed shock over his death and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
Praying tributes, BRS party working president KT Rama Rao also condoled the death of Jitta Balakrishna Reddy. He said the news of Reddy’s death was shocking. Jitta was one of the people, who was very active in the Telangana movement and followed KCR. He said Reddy had done his best to build a movement without even considering his own assets for the achievement of Telangana State. “The loss of a leader like Jitta is a irreparable loss for the BRS. May his soul rest in peace,” he said. He conveyed his deep condolences to the family members, relatives and well-wishers.
Former minister Harish Rao said he and Balakrishna Reddy worked together in many struggles for the formation of the Telangana State and added that he worked very hard for the people of Bhuvanagiri region. He said many service programmes were conducted by Reddy. Rao said Reddy had worked hard to strengthen the youth wing of BRS party. Harish Rao expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of Balakrishna Reddy.
Former minister Jagadish Reddy said he and Reddy worked together in many struggles for the formation of Telangana State. “Balakrishna Reddy conducted many service programs. His death is an irreparable loss. Deepest condolences to their family members,” he said.
BJP State president and Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy said the death of Jitta Balakrishna Reddy was shocking. He said Jitta played an active role in the final phase of Telangana movement. “Since childhood, he has been associated with nationalist politics and the BJP and has been passionate about the society. He also joined the BJP and became part of several movements and struggles against the then government. I had close personal contacts with him since the time of the movement. My deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of Jitta Balakrishna Reddy. I pray to God with all my heart to grant peace to his soul,” he said.
