Hyderabad, Dec.8 (NSS): Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and his wife today performed Ayyappa Swamy mahapadi puja at Narayanaguda Keshav Memorial College here.
Kishan Reddy couple has been performing it since the last 24 years. Ayyappa Swamis gathered in large numbers and the surroundings of the premises buzzed with chants of Lord Ayyappa by the devotees. The bhajans were played on the occasion. With the name of Manikanta, the 18 steps were beautifully decorated with colourful flowers and were lit up.
Later, abhishekam was performed to Hariharasuta. Ayyappa devotees from all parts of the city attended the puja. BJP MPs, MLAs, party leaders and other dignitaries attended the puja on the occasion.
