Hyderabad, Aug.6 (NSS): Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today inaugurated a two-storied community hall building built with his MP Lads funds in Parsigutta of Buddha Nagar Division from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion, he said Hyderabad was the fastest growing city in the country and added that all should work together to create infrastructure in Hyderabad city. “Even though the revenue is coming locally, there is no full justice in the allocations. There is a need for the Chief Minister to take a special initiative and increase the allocation of funds for the development of Hyderabad city,” he said, adding the construction of roads, development of parks, drinking water, modernization of drainage system and so on should be provided in the slums.
“After August 15, we will hold a high-level meeting of DISHA Monitoring Committee on the development programs of Hyderabad city. We will discuss issues like GHMC, water works, education, minority affairs, railways and take steps to speed up the slow running works and work actively,” he said.
