
Hyderabad, Jan.5 (RAHNUMA): To accelerate the construction works of new Osmania Hospital at Goshamahal, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Roads & Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are closely monitoring the progress of the project.
On the instructions of Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Spl Chief Secretary Vikas Raj inspected the site on Monday and held discussions with officials from all concerned departments.
Officials from GHMC informed that 56 structures identified within the project land will be cleared by the end of February, enabling uninterrupted construction activity.
The issue of change of land use relating to land earlier under the Police Department and later transferred to the Director of Medical Education (DME) is pending for issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC), as required by the MA&UD Department.
Project consultants assured that the complete schedule of drawings will be submitted by January 10, 2026, and that execution will strictly adhere to the approved timelines.
The design for the existing nala, submitted by the I&CAD Department, was reviewed, and the R&B Chief Engineer (Buildings) was instructed to commence works immediately.
On road infrastructure, directions were issued for immediate design of the proposed Road Over Bridge (ROB), rectification of the traffic-obstructing manhole at the hospital entry road, and early development of surrounding roads by GHMC. Clear instructions were issued to concerned departments to take up pending works in parallel to keep the project on schedule.
