Komatireddy pledges five years of educational support to aspiring doctor

Hyderabad, Oct.30 (NSS): Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday offered heartfelt support to Katroju Sumalatha, an MBBS student from Salabathpur village of Kowdipally mandal in Medak district, who, despite her academic achievements, was struggling financially to the point of working as a daily labourer.

Moved by her plight, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy pledged his support, ensuring that financial barriers would not hinder her education.

Through the Komatireddy Prateek Reddy Foundation, the Minister provided financial assistance for her tuition and additional support for essential expenses like books and clothing.

He encouraged Sumalatha to excel in her studies and contribute to society as a compassionate doctor serving underprivileged communities. The Minister

also spoke to the college administration and promised to cover her educational expenses for the next five years.

On the occasion, Sumalatha extended heartfelt thanks to Komatireddy for his dedication to helping students from underprivileged backgrounds pursue their dreams.
