Hyderabad, July 13 (INN): State Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar made interesting comments regarding BRS MLAs joining Congress. They stated that the BRS Legislative Party would soon merge with Congress, with legislators voluntarily joining without any pressure or inducement.
Speaking to media persons, the ministers criticised BRS and BJP for their past actions of party defections, pointing out that BRS had included many opposition members during its tenure, and BJP had formed governments in various states by luring members from other parties. They affirmed that the Congress government had fulfilled most of its election promises and would soon fulfill the promise of waiving agricultural loans up to Rs 2 lakh.
They also challenged BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao to a public debate on election promises.
