Hyderabad, Dec.5 (NSS): Minister for Endowment Konda Surekha has lambasted former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the State government.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, the Minister said that KTR’s language was too bad and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao would speak better than KTR.
“No one in KCR’s family had suffered a single scratch during the Telangana movement. The Telangana State was created because of sacrifices of youth and students, who were provoked and made to commit suicides,” she pointed out.
The Minister alleged that the BRS leaders were in illusions and were speaking irresponsibly against the Congress government.
“The BRS leaders, including KT Rama Rao are not able to tolerate the performance of Congress government. That is the reason they are indulging in mudslinging campaign against the government. I appeal to students not to fall into KTR’s trap,” she said.
Konda Surekha said that all BRS leaders would have been in jail if the government wanted to arrest them.
“If BRS leaders were not involved in the phone tapping, why were the officers sent across the abroad to escape from the case,” she questioned.
Konda Surekha further alleged that the statue of Telangana Talli was made like a princess and it was designed with gold ornaments during the tenure of BRS government.
She revealed that Telangana Mother will be made as the representative of the tribal communities and it will be unveiled on the premises of Secretariat on December 9.
Expressing anger at BJP MLA Rakesh Reddy, Konda Surekha said that the BJP leader should change his behavior and language while criticising the government.
