Hyderabad, May 21 (INN): BRS Working President K Tarakarama Rao sharply criticised the Congress party, calling it a “curse for the unemployed.” He condemned Chief Minister Revnath Reddy for not fulfilling his promises of providing 2 lakh lakhs and unemployment allowance to jobless youth.
KTR spoke in support of BRS candidate Rakesh Reddy at the Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda MLC election campaign meeting in Nalgonda on Tuesday. Stating that there were 4.70 lakh voters in the Khammam-Nalgonda-Warangal Graduates constituency, he questioned whether the youth should vote for the Congress, which he accused of cheating and vindictiveness, or for BRS, which he claimed has worked honestly for a decade.
He praised BRS candidate Rakesh Reddy, a gold medalist dedicated to public service, contrasting him with what he described as the Congress’s history of blackmail and fraud. He pointed out that the Congress government failed to issue a job calendar and did not honour its promise of conducting a Mega DSC. He disputed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s claim of creating 30,000 jobs, asserting that these jobs were processed under BRS rule and the Congress merely handed out appointment letters.
KTR accused the Congress government of betraying all sections of society in its five months of power, urging voters not to support what he termed blackmailers and fraudsters. He argued that electing Rakesh Reddy would provide an opportunity to challenge the inefficient and corrupt Congress administration. (INN)
