Hyderabad, Oct.4 (NSS): BRS party working president KTR today demanded that CM Revanth Reddy government pay ₹ 500 bonus immediately to farmers for all varieties of rice. He expressed his anger over the announcement of a bonus of Rs 500 only to fine variety of rice.
“The government should keep the promise made during the elections. It has ₹.1.5 lakh crore for Musi river cleansing project. I want to ask the government whether it does not have money for Rythu Bharosa and bonus for coarse variety of rice. Millions of farmers will not spare the CM if they are cheated by him,” he warned. He also alleged that the State government failed to fulfil its promise of providing monetary incentive under Rythu Bharosa scheme despite the fact that the ongoing crop season is coming to end.
He asked the State government to stop the thoughts of corruption and pay attention to the promises made to the farmers. KTR warned CM Revanth Reddy that he would not tolerate if any injustice was done to any farmer in the matter of the farm loan waiver scheme. KTR has written an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in this regard. In his letter, KTR criticized the Congress government for being grossly negligent in the implementation of the promises made to the farmers of the State. KTR demanded that the promise of paying a bonus of Rs 500 should be implemented immediately for every quintal of paddy grown by the farmers. KTR demanded that the farmers should immediately be paid the Rythu Bharosa dues along with the bonus to the coarse variety of rice.
