Hyderabad, March 6 (RAHNUMA): BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has extended support to the family of senior video journalist Damodar, who passed away due to a heart attack on December 5 in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad.
On the day Damodar suffered the heart attack, KTR immediately sent party MLAs Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Vivek, and Shambipur Raju to the hospital to ensure that he received the best possible medical treatment. Unfortunately, despite the efforts, Damodar did not respond to treatment and passed away.
KTR had earlier visited the family and assured them of full support during this difficult time. Fulfilling that assurance, KT Rama Rao has now extended financial assistance of ₹5 lakh in his personal capacity. On behalf of KTR, MLA Krishna Rao visited Damodar’s residence and handed over the financial support to the bereaved family.
Krishna Rao also assured the family that the party would continue to stand by them in the future.
