Hyderabad, Dec.13 (RAHNUMA): BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday congratulated the newly elected Sarpanches who emerged victorious despite what he termed ‘misuse of power and police interference’ by the ruling Congress. Hundreds of Sarpanches from across Telangana met KTR at his Nandi Nagar residence, turning it into a hub of political activity.
KTR said the strong performance of BRS-backed candidates, including victories in Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Kodangal constituency, reflected growing public opposition to the Congress government. He announced that he would meet Sarpanches district-wise over the next 10 days to felicitate them and guide future party activities.
