KTR makes Sensational Comments on CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug.17 (NSS):  BRS party working president KTR today made explosive comments regarding CM Revanth Reddy. He claimed that Revanth had recently told his close associates that his next political move would be towards the BJP.

KTR claimed that Revanth Reddy was certain to join the BJP along with his team soon. “I was born in the BJP and will end my political journey in the BJP,” is what Revanth allegedly promised Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah,” KTR claimed. He further claimed that Revanth Reddy told Modi that he started his political journey with the ABVP and would end it under the same saffron flag. “Revanth must clarify this to the public,” KTR demanded.

KTR criticized the government for its failure to effectively implement the loan waiver scheme.  “The SLBC (State Level Bankers’ Committee) stated that 47 lakh farmers should receive loans, while Revanth Reddy mentioned that Rs. 40,000 crores would be required for the crop loan waiver scheme .

However, the cabinet approved only Rs. 31,000 crores, and the budget allocated for the scheme was merely Rs. 27,000 crores. In the end, they announced a loan waiver of just Rs. 17,000 crores, benefiting only 22 lakh farmers of the state,” he said.

KTR declared that the entire loan waiver process was a sham. “The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will gather detailed information on the loan waivers at the village level. The data will then be submitted to district collectors and subsequently to the state government. If the government fails to address the farmers’ concerns, state-wide protests will commence in two days,” he warned.

KTR vowed to exert pressure on the government to ensure that every farmer received the  loan waiver benefit . He said that the BRS would start collecting data from the Chief Minister’s constituency and proceed across all constituencies later. If justice is not served, the party will initiate direct action, he warned .

He said that the  BRS call center had received approximately 1.2 lakh complaints related to the loan waiver scheme so far and added  that a pro forma would  be prepared to collect the necessary information, with local MLAs, former MLAs, or senior leaders overseeing the process while noting that the BRS party members will visit every household in the village to collect this data directly.

KTR expressed concern that the loan waiver had not reached at least 40% of the farmers, who are now in deep distress. He accused the Congress party of engaging in attention-diversion tactics to distract from the loan waiver failure. “While the Chief Minister claims that 100% of the loan waivers have been completed, the government’s establishment of special counters for those who did not receive waivers exposes the administration’s incompetence,” he rued .

KTR Questions Government’s Claims on Foxconn Investment

KTR further questioned the integrity of the current state government by alleging that under KCR’s leadership, an understanding was reached with Foxconn to create one lakh jobs. However, he  raised doubts about whether the company backed out due to Revanth Reddy’s words and administrative failures.

KTR highlighted that Foxconn, after China, had announced plans to set up its second-largest campus in Bengaluru. He demanded that the government reveal the truth about the Foxconn investments and its expansion plans in Telangana state. He also questioned whether the company would continue with its expansion, urging the Chief Minister to clarify if Foxconn’s decision to move to Bengaluru was due to the government’s failures.

Reacting on the notice issued to him by the state women’s commission over his comments against the women of the state,   KTR said that he would  appear before the Women’s Commission on August  24 and expose the misdeeds that occurred under Congress’s rule over the past eight months.

He demanded that the government file cases against those who attacked the official residence of the Siddipet MLA Harish Rao.
