Hyderabad, Dec.6 (NSS): BRS party working president & former minister KT Rama Rao today participated in the death anniversary celebrations of Dr B R Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution, at the State party headquarters here.
Speaking on the occasion, the former minister said they would corner Revanth’s government in the assembly on people’s issues. Commenting on the decision of the State government to replace the existing Telangana Talli’s statue with a different statue, he asked CM Revanth Reddy whether he was going to installing the statue of Mother of Telangana or the mother of the Congress party?
“The invitation doesn’t matter to us. Telangana’s Thalli is a matter for us. The statue of Telangana’s Thalli is not a function at Revanth Reddy’s house,” he said. KTR said they would question the State government in the Assembly on Lagacharla, gurukuls, agrarian crisis and suicides of auto rikshaw drivers’ issues. He demanded that the assembly and council sessions should be held for at least a month.
Stating that he respects Revanth Reddy and his chair, he alerted that Revanth was neglecting the 125-feet statue of Ambedkar. He criticized Revanth for not taking care of the statues of Ambedkar and PV due to the direction of the high command.
