Hyderabad, Nov.13 (NSS): Congress MLA Dr. Rammohan Reddy has alleged that BRS working president KT Rama Rao is deliberately tarnishing the reputation of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his family members.
Speaking to the media at the CLP media conference hall on the premises of the Assembly here on Wednesday, Rammohan Reddy condemned the remarks of KTR, who alleged that the land acquisition for the Kodangal Pharma Cluster was being done for the benefit of Revanth Reddy’s son-in-law, and clarified that no one had applied for land in the pharma cluster as of now.
“The Kodangal Pharma Cluster is intended to establish non-polluting pharma companies, with half of the land acquisition already complete. The project is expected to attract Rs.15,000 crore in investments and generate direct and indirect employment for 30,000 people,” he disclosed.
The Parigi MLA accused certain BRS members of inciting attacks through provocations, raising concerns about the motives behind such actions.
Questioning the intentions of former MLA and BRS leader Narender Reddy, he asked why Narender was in contact with Suresh, the primary accused in the recent attack case, hinting at a conspiracy behind the incident.
The Congress MLA also called attention to the need for industries in backward areas like Kodangal and Parigi, questioning why industrial projects should only be directed to constituencies like Sircilla, Gajwel, and Siddipet.
He issued a direct challenge to KTR, demanding proof within 24 hours that land in the Kodangal Pharma Cluster was allocated to Revanth Reddy’s son-in-law’s company.
“If KTR can provide evidence, I will resign from my position as Parigi MLA. Otherwise, he should step down from his MLA post,” Rammohan Reddy asked.
