Hyderabad, Nov.21 (NSS): BRS working president KTR will participate in Diksha Diwas program in Karimnagar on November 29. He called upon the party ranks to organize Diksha Diwas grandly in all the assembly constituency centres across the State.
“Deeksha Diwas is the most important moment in the pursuit of Swarashtra of Telangana people. On November 29, 2009, BRS party (then TRS) president KCR went on a fast to death, which laid a strong foundation for the achievement of separate Telangana State. He said before KCR going to the Diksha, it united the people of Telangana of all colours, with the determination of whether Telangana will come or KCR would die. “It shook the entire political system of India and fulfilled the long-standing aspirations of the people of Telangana for decades,” he recalled.
