KTR to undertake padayatra across State as demanded by party workers

Hyderabad, Nov.1 (NSS)BRS party working president KTR today said he would undertake a padayatra across the State in the future as the party workers are demanding him to do so. In the ‘Ask KTR’ campaign organized by him on X platform, he answered many questions asked by the users.

Stating that  leaders of many parties in the country have been highlighting the failures of the governments and the political party presidents are   undertaking padayatras to strengthen the parties, he asked  as to when would he undertake the padayatra.

Responding to this, KTR revealed that his padayatra would definitely be there. During the conversation, which lasted for nearly an hour-and-a-half, KTR shared his views on several issues.

“Congress rule has become a curse for Telangana. The Congress government has no intention of fulfilling the promises made to the people. That’s why it is deceiving people by spending time on lies and untruths. I don’t remember a single good that the Congress party has done in the last 10 months. A better administration cannot be expected from the Congress party which was elected on false promises. They have launched political harassment to cover up their failures,” he alleged.

However, KTR made it clear that he was not afraid of these things and added that the Congress party’s promise to give bonuses to the premier quality rice  had  also turned bogus. “We will vote for the Congress government and fight on behalf of the farmers who are suffering due to lack of support price or rythu bandhu,” he said. He alleged that the Congress rule had become like a rule from Delhi, to Delhi and for Delhi.

KTR said after four years, the Congress party would lose power. He, however, said the biggest challenge would be to open up and take it forward from the damage done by the present government to the new government. “After the Congress party came to power, the economic progress of the State has completely collapsed. Telangana State is lagging behind in all spheres.

Starting from the State’s sources of revenue to the agriculture sector, all sectors are in recession. Unemployment has increased. Many companies are going back from Telangana. No one knows what plans the State government has in these matters. It is not possible to make up for the damage caused by the Congress rule,” he said, adding he would fight on behalf of the people on the implementation of the promises made by this government as well as transparency in the decisions taken.

Replying to a question on whether there was a possibility of overturning the rule of the Congress party in the wake of strong public opposition to the party, he  said they would have to wait for another four years, but said people had  given an opportunity to the Congress party for five years that needs to be respected.

Replying to a question on whether the chief minister would  remain in office for a full five-year term or go to the BJP due to the cash-for-vote case, he  said anything can happen in politics, especially if one looks at the history of the Congress party.
