
Hyderabad, March 26: The aftermath of the Lok Sabha polls in Telangana reverberates as Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy frames it as a referendum on the Congress government’s first 100 days in power in the state.
Addressing a gathering of party leaders from seven crucial Assembly segments constituting the Chevella Lok Sabha constituency— Maheswaram, Rajendranagar, Serilingampally, Chevella, Pargi, Vikarabad, and Tandur— TPCC Chief underscored the significance of the election outcome.
“In the wake of our government’s initial 100 days, the Lok Sabha election results in Telangana can be seen as a measure of public sentiment,” Revanth Reddy articulated during the meeting.
Setting sights on a broader canvas, the Congress leader articulated plans for a nationwide campaign kickstarting from Rangareddy district’s Tukkuguda, where top brass including AICC Chief Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi are expected to be present.
“The essence of social justice lies within the ethos of the Congress party,” Revanth Reddy emphasized, outlining the party’s aspirations to secure at least 14 seats in Telangana.
Furthermore, he shed light on the meticulous process of candidate selection, affirming that it’s being guided by inputs and surveys from grassroots-level workers. The nominations of G Ranjith Reddy, Sunitha Mahender Reddy, and Danam Nagender were highlighted as outcomes of extensive consultations within the party ranks.
Among the attendees at the meeting were Congress’s Chevella Lok Sabha candidate Dr. G Ranjith Reddy, Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad, MLA Rammohan Reddy, along with several other prominent leaders, signifying a unified front gearing up for political endeavors ahead.
