
Hyderabad, May 25 (NSS): Congress leader Mallu Ravi has written a letter to the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer to take stern action against K Tarakarama Rao, MLA & BRS working president, for his unwarranted and derogatory remarks against INC party candidate in the Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam graduate MLC by-election at BRS party’s preparatory meeting at Choutuppal on May 24.
In his letter, Mallu Ravi said the BRS leader KTR used unwarranted, derogatory and scathing remarks, against the INC party candidate Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chinthapadnu Naveen Kumar, on the eve of Warangal-Nalgonda- Khammam graduate MLC by-election, in their party’s preparatory meeting which was held at Choutuppal, on May 24. He said BRS candidate Rakesh Reddy has studied in the BITS Pilani and won gold medal apart from he also worked in the US for seven years and also, he is the son of a farmer.
He also criticised the INC party candidate Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chinthapandu Naveen Kumar, in a gratuitous and insulting manner by using that Mallanna is a palli-batani and also, he stated that this election is in between BITS Pilani and Palli Batani. He said Teenmaar Mallanna a highly qualified person having degree from Kakatiya University, Post Graduation (Journalism) from Osmania University and MBA from JNTU. There is no meaning to use that type of derogatory words i.e. he is a palli-batani.
Mallu said the version and vocabulary of K. Tarakarama Rao will attract the Model Code of Conduct of the Election Commission of India for insulting the other candidates in the election fray. He has not only insulted all the graduates of OU and KU varsities by comparing with a private deemed university of Rajasthan.
“In this regard, on behalf Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, I request your good-self to take stern action against KTR for his unruly, unwarranted, derogatory remarks passed against INC party candidate Teenmaar Mallanna in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduate by-election proposed to be held on May 27.
