 Mayor, deputy mayor, corporators celebrate allocation of  Rs 3,065 crore to corporation by govt

Hyderabad, July 26 (NSS): In the State budget, the GHMC has been allocated Rs. 3065 crores .The GHMC mayor, deputy mayor and corporators celebrated the allocation of Rs 3,065 crore to the corporation at the GHMC headquarters on Friday.

The Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor Mote Srilatha Sobhan Reddy and several corporators participated in the event and thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy; burst crackers distributed sweets and expressed happiness.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said, “I am happy that ₹.10,000 crore has been allocated for the development of Hyderabad city in the state budget. In particular, the GHMC has been given Rs.3065 crores. Special thanks to the Chief Minister for allocating Rs 3,065 crore and Rs. 3385 crores for the water board. With the allocation of such huge amount ,  we hope that the most important drinking water and drainage problems in the city will be resolved,” she said .

She also said that the state government had given special attention to creating infrastructure in the city to keep pace with the growing population. “Metro rail expansion, musi development, expansion of GHMC up to outer ring road, hydra installation will be very useful for the development of the city,” she said. On this occasion, the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Corporators again thanked the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister for allocating funds for the development of the city.
