Hyderabad, Nov.19 (NSS): GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has instructed the officials to resolve the complaints within 15 days. On Tuesday, the Mayor reviewed the resolution of grievances on Prajavani, MyGHMC app, Twitter and online complaints with additional commissioners, zonal commissioners and HODs at the command control room at the GHMC headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, she said most of the complaints about town planning had been received in the public domain at the GHMC head office, zonal and circle level and the reasons for the same have been asked by the concerned officials. Analysing the redressal of complaints, she suggested that an enquiry, inspection and action should be taken if a complaint was received at an early stage regarding town planning and added that priority should be given to solving the problem.
“Officials should work with commitment to retain the trust of the people. She said every complaint received through prajavani should be treated with utmost priority. She suggested that the focus should be on resolving complaints in a timely manner. If the issue can be resolved, it should be resolved within a week and if it cannot be resolved, the reasons should be communicated to the complainant. Similarly, complaints received on MyGHMC app, Twitter and online should be resolved promptly within the stipulated time,” she said.
