Hyderabad, Nov.6 (NSS): Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, VSM, Commandant, Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, inaugurated the college’s new head quarters building named as ANUDESH here on Wednesday.
This significant event marks a new chapter in the institution’s rich history, underscoring its dedication for preserving the traditions while advancing in the field of technical education.
“ANUDESH” has a newly designed foyer, which showcases the roots and complete history of MCEME and the contributions of various Commandants and torch bearers of this glorious institution. The foyer also has an artwork of contemporary Bengali artist Charbak Dipta which depicts all the activities of MCEME, its faculties and various wings.
MCEME is a 75 year old institution with deep roots and a clear vision and direction for the future. The seven walls of the foyer narrate the genesis, evolution and development of MCEME as a premier training institution of the Indian Army, a press release said.
