Ankara, March 07 (QNA) – Top military chiefs of Turkey, the US and Russia discussed the regional security situation at a meeting in Turkey’s southern Antalya province Tuesday, according to Turkish General Staff.
Chief of Turkish General Staff Hulusi Akar, his US and Russian counterparts Joseph Dunford and Valery Gerasimov exchanged views on the security situation in the region, particularly on Syria and Iraq, Anadolu Agency (AA) quoted the military as saying in a statement.
The meeting came ahead of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s two-day visit to Moscow, which is expected to start on Thursday. (QNA)
