Hyderabad, June 20 (NSS): Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao paid a surprise visit to the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (TSTDC), popularly known as Telangana Tourism House, in Himayath Nagar on Thursday.
After examining the attendance register and biometric attendance, the Minister expressed his displeasure at the authorities over the absence of staff.
He was angry at the non-compliance of time management and low attendance.
Jupally Krishna Rao moved around the each floor of the building and asked the officials why the empty chairs were visible in the office.
On the occasion, he directed the officials to prepare a detailed attendance list for the one year period. The Minister stated that he will soon conduct a review on the attendance and performance of the employees.
The Minister also instructed the officials concerned to implement the biometric system from the superiors to the lower level staff.
Jupally Krishna Rao made it clear that the employees who are accountable to the public will not tolerate negligence in their duties.(NSS)
