Hyderabad, Jan.5 (RAHNUMA): MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Monday announced that she would float her own political party before the next general elections, stating that Telangana Jagruthi would be transformed into a full-fledged political outfit. Calling it a new beginning, Kavitha appealed to Dalits, minorities, women, students and the unemployed youth to stand by her and give her strength.
“I am coming to you, breaking all ties with my family due to the burden of humiliation. Bless me”, she noted, expressing confidence that her party would emerge as a strong political force in Telangana. She said the new party would work for self-respect, rights and opportunities for all sections of society.
Kavitha also said that there was a definite need in Telangana for a party that would fight for the rights and self-respect of the Telangana movement activists and added that in the coming days, Telangana Jagruthi would fulfill that need. She invited movement activists and families of martyrs to join Telangana Jagruthi, saying it would soon fill that political vacuum.
