Hyderabad, June 25 (NSS): TPCC Sr. Vice-President & Chairman, Election Commission Coordination Committee Niranjan today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted ‘pranapathista’ of Bala Ram idol at ‘Ayodhya’ on January 22, 2024 with much publicity and campaign. The devotees of Ram were shocked knowing that rain water was leaking into the shrine.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here today, he said the matter was disclosed by the head priest of the temple Acharya Jitender Das on Monday. It is said this rain water is flowing right in front of the Ram Lalla statue where the priest sits and where the VIPs stand for darshan. He also narrated that there is negligence in the construction of the temple and proper arrangements were not made to drain the water from the temple premises.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhumi Puja on August 5, 2020 and started the works. Narendra Modi did the ‘pranaprathista’ of Shri Bala Rama on January 22, 2024 with much fanfare with the intention of starting the temple before the elections, despite the construction work of the temple was not completed. Advice of eminent scholars of Agama Shastra not to go ahead with the pranapratishta program before the completion of the construction work was ignored.
It is noteworthy that Laxmikant Dixit, who organized the pranapatishtha program, passed away recently. The pouring of rainwater from the temple Gopuram happened on June 24, 2024. Modi while participating in an election campaign rally in Assam’s Nalbari on Sri Ram Navami day (20-04-2024) and stopped his speech at 12 noon and informed that in a few moments a miracle will be unveiled at the Ayodhya Bala Rama Mandir where the Surya kirans will appear on the forehead of Bhagavan Bala Ram.
Modi should take responsibility for hurriedly completion of construction work with political intention and he should apologize to the people for poor quality of work and leakage of water into shrine.
Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra said in Ayodhya that the work on the first floor of the temple will be completed by the end of July and the entire temple construction work will be completed by December. Modi committed a grave misdemeanour by constructing this temple with the ulterior motive of getting benefit in the elections. Modi should apologize to the people of India and to the devotees of the Ram for his misdeed, Niranjan added.
