Musi rejuvenation works to be carried out in democratic manner: Bhatti

Hyderabad, March 31 (RAHNUMA): Deputy Chief Minister and Chairman of the Musi Cabinet Sub-committee Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the Musi River rejuvenation works will be carried out in a democratic manner.

Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday held a detailed review meeting with officials at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, along with Minister and Musi Cabinet Sub-committee member Ponnam Prabhakar, to assess the progress of the Musi rejuvenation project.

He announced that public opinions on the Musi rejuvenation will be invited online from March 31 to April 15 through the email ID musirrdc@gmail.com. All valuable suggestions received online will be thoroughly analysed in consultation with officials, and the Sub-committee members will directly engage in phased consultations with those who provided inputs.

The Deputy Chief Minister informed that the foundation stone for the Omkareshwara Temple works on the banks of the Musi River was laid on march 28. He instructed officials to prepare a comprehensive roadmap for the works to be undertaken from that day, covering Musi Phase-1 and Phase-2.

He advised officials to divide responsibilities and proceed efficiently, including coordination regarding Defence lands, consultations with displaced families, finalisation of construction designs, and discussions with bankers.

Bhatti Vikramarka urged officials to move forward with enthusiasm by understanding the commitment of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the entire Cabinet, stating that this project would stand as a milestone in their careers.

He also assured that Musi Sub-committee members will be available round the clock to support officials with any suggestions or requirements.

Special Chief Secretary Ranjan, Musi Riverfront Development Corporation MD E.V. Narasimha Reddy, Joint Managing Director Gauthami, officials Vinay Krishna Reddy and Ashok Reddy, Collectors Harichandana, Narayana Reddy and Manu Chowdary, GHMC Commissioner Karnan, and others participated in the meeting.
