Hyderabad, March 18 (RAHNUMA): Director General NCC Lt Gen Virendra Vats reviewed training activities during his visit to the NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in Secunderabad. The visit was aimed at reviewing the ongoing training activities and initiatives being undertaken by the Directorate for the holistic development of NCC cadets.
The NCC chief lauded the Directorate for its commitment towards nation-building and youth development through structured training and community engagement initiatives.
While interacting with officers and staff, he emphasized the need to align NCC training with emerging technological advancements. He specifically advised the Directorate to focus on enhancing Cyber Training and Drone Training for cadets, in order to equip them with future-ready skills relevant to modern-day challenges and opportunities.
The visit concluded with a reaffirmation of the NCC’s pivotal role in shaping the youth of the nation and preparing them to contribute effectively to society and national security.
