Hyderabad, Nov.18 (NSS): Former minister and BRS MLA Harish Rao has reiterated that only the BRS party thinks about the welfare of Telangana martyrs.
“It was only the BRS party and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who honoured the martyrs by giving a government job to their family members and Rs 10 lakh in cash,” he said.
Harish Rao was the chief guest at the Telangana Champions Trophy cricket tournament held at JB Grounds in Turkayanjal on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the BRS leader said that he was happy to participate in the cricket tournament being organised in memory of the Telangana martyrs.
“Congratulations to the activist and BRS leader Narsinga Rao who is organising the event every year. Telangana State was formed as a result of the sacrifices of the martyrs, efforts of the students and BRS president KCR,” he said .
Recalled that KCR made Telangana State number one in all sectors like IT, finance and agriculture during the tenure of BRS government, Harish Rao alleged that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Telangana had reached the bottom level in 11-month rule.
“ Revanth Reddy makes rubbish statements, saying that there used to be sea on three directions around Hyderabad and also says that planes are available in Dilsukhnagar. He says former PM Rajiv Gandhi invented the computer. If you listen to the CM’s words and write in exams, you will fail ,” Harish Rao mocked .
