
Hyderabad, Dec.8 (NSS): The Honour Run, held on Sunday at Necklace Road, here witnessed an incredible turnout as citizens from all walks of life, who joined hands to pay tribute to the veterans of the Indian Armed Forces. The event featured three categories – 4km, 5km and 12.5km – symbolizing endurance and unity which witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1200 runners.
Veterans ran alongside participants, sharing inspiring stories of their journey of life in Armed Forces, creating a sense of camaraderie and respect. The event concluded with a heartfelt ceremony to honor their sacrifices and dedication. Organizers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, which underscored the collective respect for the Armed Forces. “Today, we celebrated not just a run but a legacy of service and sacrifice,” said Major General Akhilesh Kumar, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding, Bison Division.
